Wolfville's Accessibility Advisory Committee is working on a new Accessibility Plan.
To make this more meaningful, we would like to understand what barriers you experience in the community when you interact with Town space, information, programs and services.
By sharing your experiences with the committee, it will help the Committee prepare a list of priorities that will be recommended to Council and these recommendations will form our new Accessibility Plan!
Please take a few moments to answer some questions and help make Wolfville a more accessible community where we can live, work, study and play!
Our areas of focus
The Accessibility Advisory Committee, along with Town staff and Council, work to identify, remove and prevent barriers in five key areas.
These areas are:
Built environment
Information and Communication
Employment
Goods and Services (think of this like programs and services)
Transportation (including transportation infrastructure like roads and trails)
Please take a moment to think about the barriers you face and then take the survey below.
If you need assistance completing this survey or require it in an alternate format, please contact Barb Shaw at bshaw@wolfville.ca or call 902-679-9124.
